I've been a bit under the weather this week with one of those dreaded summer colds but expect to be back Monday in full force.  In the meantime, I'm going to take a break from my usual spiel today to give a little love to my good friend's company, Sunsnapz, and their innovative new baby product.
Sunsnapz specializes in these lightweight, fantastically soft, UPF 50+ blankets that can be snapped securely to any infant or child gear to provide sun and wind protection for babes.  The machine-washable blankets come in two sizes (midi and maxi) and several beautiful colors.  They're laboratory tested and proven to block 97% of the sun's harmful UV rays without the addition of any chemicals, and they're made in the USA!

The blankets have snaps at intervals around the hems that allow them to be snapped securely around any stroller or baby gear to provide a snug, breathable, sun-protective cover for babies.  I can't tell you how much fussing I did with unruly blankets while walking outside on a breezy day.  Problem solved!

They're also great to use as little post-swim cover-ups.  UPF 50+ superhero cape, anyone?

I'm not being paid a cent for this endorsement, I just genuinely think this is a great product with tons of versatility.  My effervescent friend, Julia, who is the brains behind the company, is a young mom who experienced a need for a secure stroller cover and set out to fill the void.  And from that, Sunsnapz was born!

The midi blanket measures approximately 28" x 48" and is a perfect fit for single strollers, buggies, infant car seats, baby carriers, or for use as a swaddle blanket.  The maxi blanket is approximately 36" x 56" and works beautifully for double strollers and pack-n-plays.
